Last week I bought this US import from a dealer, on the understanding that it is a none runner.
I was told that there is no spark at the spark plugs.
As you can see from the title picture, it's looking a bit tatty, but since I intend to convert it to a cafe racer, the seat and tank will be replaced anyway.
As you can see, the bike has only done 16,000 miles in 35 years!
Looks like the battery has leaked acid some time ago.
The tank is dented and the seat is wrecked.
But the other side doesn't look too bad.
The stickers on the reg plate would suggest that the bike hasn't been on the road since August 1991.
